Everything you need to know before booking your charter with A1CHARTERS.
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance for standard group trips, and 6–12 weeks for peak season (summer, holidays) or large events with 40+ passengers. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — contact us directly and we'll do our best. Popular routes like Olympic Peninsula and Napa Valley fill fast on summer weekends.
Our Sprinter Vans accommodate groups as small as 10 passengers. For full motorcoach charters, we suggest a minimum of 24 passengers to make the most of the space and cost per head. There's no strict minimum trip duration — we handle everything from 4-hour local runs to week-long multi-state tours.
Charter pricing is based on vehicle type, distance, trip duration, and date. Rather than publish flat rates that don't reflect your unique trip, we provide free custom quotes through our Moovs booking platform. Most groups find chartering surprisingly cost-effective when split per head compared to car rentals, rideshares, or flight connections.
Cancellations made 30+ days before the trip receive a full refund. Cancellations 15–29 days prior receive a 50% refund. Within 14 days, deposits are non-refundable. We always try to accommodate rescheduling requests at no extra charge when notice is given early — life happens, and we understand.
Yes — food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome on all vehicles. Alcohol is permitted on our Party Buses with a licensed event, and on other vehicles with prior written approval. Washington and Oregon open-container laws apply, so we'll walk you through the requirements when you book. We ask that the vehicle be left in respectful condition.
All of our vehicles include on-board Wi-Fi and USB charging ports. Full-size coaches and Freightliners also feature 110V power outlets at seats. Our Party Buses are equipped with premium sound systems, LED lighting, and HDMI connectivity. Specific amenity lists vary by vehicle — check individual fleet pages for exact specs.
Every driver on our roster holds a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement, has passed a DOT physical, completed a comprehensive background check, and holds a clean driving record verified annually. We maintain FMCSA compliance and all vehicles undergo pre-trip safety inspections before every charter.
Yes. Several vehicles in our fleet are equipped with ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps and accessible seating configurations. Please inform us at time of booking about any accessibility requirements so we can assign the appropriate vehicle and ensure your entire group travels comfortably.
We operate throughout Washington State, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, and British Columbia. Our most popular corridors include Seattle → Olympic Peninsula, Seattle → Portland/Columbia Gorge, Seattle → Crater Lake, and Seattle → Napa Valley. For destinations beyond our standard range, contact us — we can often accommodate with advance notice.
Absolutely. Custom itineraries are our specialty. You tell us your must-see stops, preferred departure time, and any special requirements — we handle the logistics, driving, and timing. For multi-day tours, we also coordinate with hotels and attractions on your behalf when requested.
